   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Apirl 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Hiatt and Bro. Michael Pickford officiating.  Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
   Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. unitl time of services.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
   Mr. Wilkerson, age 70, of Dickson, Tn died April  6, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center.
   He was a lifelong resident of Dickson County, son of the late Austin L. P. and Annie Louise Johnson Wilkerson.  He was a master mechanic by trade making transmissions his specialty.  He worked at the former Alvin Jones Chevrolet Co., later working with Mike Jones Chevrolet.  Robert thought that there was one and only automotive company, that was General Motors. .
   He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He and his hunting buddy, Phillip Seals, always killed and caught the biggest. He loved his garden, already having onion sets and cabbage out for the season.
   His approach to life was common sense.  He was a jack of all trades and a true master of them all.
   Robert was a loving husband, father, and papa. He was a good loving man.
   Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jewell Gray Wilkerson of Dickson TN; his son, Dewayne Wilkerson and his wife, Regina of Dickson,TN; his daughter, Lisa Wilkerson Christian and her husband, Todd of Burns,TN; His grandchildren, Brannon Wilkerson and his wife, Alicia, Ashley Wilkerson, Ella Christian, Lily Christian and his soon to be born great grandson, Keeton Wilkerson; his two sisters, Bobbie Mirick of Hendersonville,TN and Jonie Rodewald and her husband, Jerry of Frisco, Texas; Several nieces and nephews.
