   Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, May 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Tucker officiating. Place of rest will be in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff.
   Visitation will begin on Saturday, May 7th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Sunday from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
   Shelby, age 77, of White Bluff, TN died peacefully May 5, 2016 at her home.
   She was born in the Petway community of Cheatham County and was the daughter of the late Robbie Leon and Pauline Reed Dozier.  She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Bell. She was a graduate of William James High School in White Bluff, Class of 1959 where she excelled in basketball. She played basketball all four years of high school where she served as captain her fourth year and all district her third year and also played basketball in the 7th and 8th grade. She worked on the school annual staff. Shelby was a member of FHA where she served as treasurer her second year and  served as her class treasurer her second year. She took part in both of ther junior and senior class plays.
   She was a retired school bus driver for the Cheatham County Board of Education with 25 years of service.  She loved driving the bus and caring for the kids. Shelby allowed no misbehaving on her bus. The safety was her main concern for her kids.
   Shelby had many roles in life, a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved quilting. Shelby loved baking and making cakes for fundraisers for the Pegram Community Center. Her specialty was her famous coconut cake. She loved Mason's Boat Dock on the Tennessee River where she and her family would spend time together at their camp. Shelby loved gardening, catfish fishing and canning. She had a passion for the Vanderbilt Commodores Basketball. She loved and fought for the gold and black.
   Shelby was a honest and to the point type of lady who was very respectful to others. She was a former member of the Pegram Church of Christ and is now  a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
   Survivors include her daughter, Sharon F. Bell Welch and her son in law, Michael R. Welch of White Bluff,TN, her grandchidren, Matthew C. Welch and his girlfriend, Paige J., Brandon S. Welch and his girlfriend, Megan, Amy D. Welch and her fiance, Dalton Z. and Emily N. Welch and her fiance, Aaron L., her one great grandchild, Jessa Tyler Zwingle, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
  Casket bearers will be Jason Bell, Billy Woods, Brandon Welch, Matthew Welch, Aaron Lee and Dalton Zwingle.
