   BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: AGAINST SUCH THERE IS NO LAW.
  Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with her son-in-law, Randy Forrest, officiating. Place of rest will be in the J. Warren Cemetery in Humphreys County. Visitation with her family will be Sunday afternoon, May 15th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
   Mrs. Anderson, age 89, of Dickson, TN formerly of Camden and Waverly, died peacefully Friday May 13, 2016 at NHC of Dickson after a short stay.
   She was born in Humphreys County, daughter of the late William Oce and Mattie Carnell Hemby.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great -great grandmother.  She was a kind, gentle, christian lady that loved her family and  loved being a homemaker.  Ms. Sophia was known by those around her to be passionate about her cooking. She was know for her southern fried chicken and her sour dough biscuits.
  She and her late husband,  Samuel Edgar (Red) Anderson,  were former residents of Camden TN and Waverly TN and were former members of the  New Johnsonville Church of Christ and she  currently  is a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Dickson.
   Survivors include her son, Samuel Anderson and his wife, Sandra of Martin,TN; her daughters, Peggy Triplett and her husband, Sam of Dickson,TN, Mary Anderson of Dickson,TN, Linda Forrest and her husband, Randy of Kingston Springs,TN; her sister, Odell Simpson of Morrison,TN; her 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Lilly Ellis and 6 siblings.
