    Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 1pm from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Overton officating and Bishop Terry Haynes, Eulogist. Visitation will be held starting at 12pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Susan Denise Long was born in Dickson County on January 12, 1961 at Dickson General Hospital to the late Jessie Long and Clara Pearl Robertson.

    Susan leaves behind long-life friend, Tony Mays, three children, Tanisha Renee Long, Taquetta Danielle Long Evans (Terry Dean Evans Jr.), Mercedies Denesia Long Davis; three devoted grandchildren, Aaliyah Long, Demontae Evans, Jamarcus Evans; brothers, Thomas Robertson (Georgia), Carroll Long (Yvonne), Morris Long Sr. (Rosalind-deceased), William Long (Crystal Hannah); sisters, Carolyn Long, Anna House (Mark), Mrs. Ann Mayberry (devoted friend/she called her sister) and Diane Reynolds - deceased devoted friend and cousin, two devoted nieces, Krishawna Robertson and Jessica Long and also a host of many other nieces and nephews and devoted friends and adopted children.

    Susan was a woman of God who loved the Lord. Susan was raised up in the Hortense Community belonging to Mt. Olive Baptist Church for many years until she joined Beth-El Baptist Church of Wrigley, TN on April 8, 2012.

    She loved to sing, cook, praise the Lord and to Love. Susan was an inspiration to many. She was well loved and will be missed.
