      A celebration of life service for Kimberly Ann “Kim” Petty, age 52 of Nashville will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Graystone Quarry, 4520 Graystone Quarry Ln., Franklin, TN  37064, (615)943-6688.  A memorial visitation with her family will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Taylor Funeral Home.  Kim died Wednesday, January 18th after an extended and valiant fight against cancer.  Her ashes will be interred on the family plot at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
     For anyone wishing to remember Kim or her family with a memorial, the family has suggested donations to the American Cancer Society, any humane society or animal shelter, or to the charity of your choice. 

     A native of Dickson County, Kim was the daughter of Sally Loggins Petty and the late B. M. Petty.  She was a 1982 graduate of Dickson County High School and received her BA degree from Austin Peay State University.  An advertising specialist, Kim most recently was employed with cjAdvertising in Nashville.  Kim loved her family, especially her mother; and she has four nieces who thought she “hung the moon”!  She loved traveling and had a big heart for animals.

     Survivors include Sally Loggins Petty, White Bluff; Lori Eslick, Nashville;  Bob Petty (Glenda), Dickson; Brenda King (Randy), White Bluff; Millie Tremlett, Megan Goolsby, Ashley Petty, and Emily King; and numerous other relatives and friends.

     Taylor Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with her local arrangements.
