                 A funeral service for Carl Wheeler Morgan, age 82 of White Bluff will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 from Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy in White Bluff with Pastor Gary Riley officiating.  Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will also be at the church on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Mr. Morgan died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Horizon Medical Center.  Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.  For those wishing to make a memorial, the family has suggested donations to the church or charity of your choice.

Born in Rhea County, Tennessee Carl was the son of the late William Monroe and Martha Ann Minton Morgan.  He retired from Triton, a company dedicated to the manufacture of fiberglass and aluminum bass/fishing/ski boats.  Carl was a dedicated and faithful member of Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy and served God and the church as a deacon.  He loved his family, his church family and the great outdoors.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Betty Lowery Morgan, a son, Steven Scott Morgan, and by a great-grandson, Wyatt Morgan.

Survivors include his daughter, Beverly Underwood (Shannon), White Bluff; his son, Carl Dewayne Morgan, Dickson;  four grandchildren, Bradley Morgan, Charlotte, Kari Morgan, Dickson, and Adana Harper and Dalton Harper, both of White Bluff; great-grandchildren, Payton Sullivan and Henley Sullivan.
