Born in Dickson County, Billy was the son of the late John Allen and Emma Hassell Albright. On Valentine’s Day, 2017, he went to be with the Lord and to be with “his Valentine” of 69 years, Ellen E. Gibbs Albright. She preceded him in death in December, 2015. Billy was a longtime faithful member of First Free Will Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He retired from the maintenance department of Robert Orr/Sysco and then he worked at Hillmont Camp for 20 more years, retiring in 2014. Billy was a family man and loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Because of his great love for animals, the family is requesting memorials be made to HSDC (Humane Society of Dickson County) in lieu of flowers. And he loved music, especially country music and Southern Gospel and was blessed with the ability to play the guitar and harmonica. Billy was also predeceased by his son, Tommy Albright and by his daughter-in-law, Peggy Albright Stinson.
Survivors include his son, Ronnie D. Albright (Karen), Dickson, his two daughters, Connie Proctor (“Bugs”) and Bonnie Nolen (Daryl), Vanleer; grandchildren, Westley Albright (Karyn), Todd Albright (Samantha), Jeremy Newton (Leyna), Nina Turcotte (Bryan), Jarrett Proctor (Crystal), and Brandon Albright (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Kennedy, Heath, Maci, Bentley, Presleigh, Briggs, and “Little Jarrett C.”.
