    Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. George Caudill will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Tuesday, June 6th from 4:00 p.m. unitl 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday beginning at 12 noon until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials are suggested to Alive Hospice or to St. Jude's.
    Mr. England, age 86, a lifelong resident of Dickson,TN died peacefully Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville after a short stay.
    He was born in Dickson County, son of the late Robert Clarence and Roena Street England.  He was a graduate of Dickson High School, Class of 1948. He played and enjoyed the high school sport of football while there.   He proudly served his country in the Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict.  He loved to work, his first job was the "soda jerk" at the former longtime downtown business, Jackson Drug Co. under the ownership of J. W. Beasley.  He retired after many years as a heavy duty equipment mechanic. He worked at the former Schrader's as a mechanic and retired there and later as a retirement job he worked as a mechanic at the Dickson County Highway Department.
    In his spare time he loved to watch sports, especially any team that Peyton Manning played for.   He loved spending time hunting rabbit, squirrel, deer and turkey and loved spending time on the water fishing. He attended and was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.
   He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Diane England, his brothers and sisters, Weda England Donegan, Stanley England, Harry England,  June England Burross and Dickson England.
    Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary McEwen England of Dickson,TN; his daughter, Deborah England Dunlap of Nashville,TN; his grandsons, Blake Alan Dunlap and Austin Scott Dunlap. Several nieces and nephews.
   Casketbearers will be; Blake Dunlap, Austin Dunlap, Randy King, Brent Logan, Mark Sesler and Dick Sesler.
