 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Clay Corlew and Chad Fussell officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, June 9th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.

   Mrs. Taylor, age 86, of Cedar Hill Road in Kingston Springs,TN died peacefully June 8, 2017 at NHC in Dickson, her family was by her side.

   She was a lifelong Cheatham Countian, daughter of the late Robert and Cecil Appleton Dunn. She was a graduate of Bellevue High School, Class of 1948.  She was the widow of the late Doyle Taylor and the mother of the late Michael Doyle Taylor.  She wore many hats, one as Wife, one as Mother, one as Mammaw, one as Jacqueline, one as Jackie, one as Ms. Jack, and one as Friend. She comfortably and lovingly wore all these hats. The hat she wore during her working life was school bus driver. Ms. Jack drove a school bus for the Cheatham County School System for some 30 years.

   Jackie loved the out of doors. Living very close to the historic Harpeth River, she loved fishing and all that the out of doors had to offer.  She spent many hours watching and feeding her hummingbirds, picking blackberries, quilting, crocheting and loved her puzzles.  She loved her time in the kitchen cooking for family and friends.  Jacqueline loved animals and her pets.  And nothing was any better to her than an Arby’s order. In the years past, she enjoyed gardening and selling her produce such as peas, tomatoes, green beans on highway 70.  She shared the fruits of her labor.

   Last, but very not least, as Wife, Mother, Mammaw she dearly loved her family and being with them. For the past several years that is exactly where she has been, living with her family.  They brought light and enjoyment to her life all of her days.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Taylor and his wife, Lisa of Kingston Springs,TN; her daughters, Sheila Gill and her husband Randall of White Bluff, TN and Betty Ruth Gray and her husband, Rick of Bon Aqua, TN; her brother, Mr. Elmer Dunn of Dickson, TN; her grandchildren, Josh and Beth Gill, B. J. and Kelly Owen, Ashley and Chad Fussell, Jacy and Jeff Cunningham, Dustin and Stephanie Taylor and Kelsey Taylor; her great grandchildren, Cole Tucker, Taylor Tucker, Abby Gill, Jack Gill, Sarah Gill, Michael Taylor and Brandan Owen; Her sister in law; Chloe Corlew of  Kingston Springs,TN; Nephew, nieces and cousins.

Casketbearers will be Jeff Taylor, Randall Gill, Rick Gray, Josh Gill, Chad Fussell, Kelly Owen, Jeff Cunningham, Dustin Taylor, Jack Gill, Michael Taylor, Cole Tucker and Brandan Owen.
