   Graveside services will be conducted Friday afternoon, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Dickson Union Cemetery.  Rev. Steven Lee will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time on Friday. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

  Mrs. Weaver, age 88, of Dickson died peacefully August 28, 2017 at NHC of Dickson.

  Mrs. Weaver was the widow of the late George Slayden Weaver who died in 1989.  She was born in Hamblen County, Tennessee daughter of the late Joseph Phillip and Chelsea McAnally Hawkins. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Dickson.  Mrs. Weaver was a RN and was a graduate of the Baptist School of Nursing in Memphis, TN.   After graduating nursing school, she began her career as a labor and delivery nurse in Nashville.  She later worked with her husband part time in the Goodlark Pharmacy.  She loved collecting antiques, loved to travel and read.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bernice Hawkins Wagner and Judith Hawkins Wheeler.

   Survivors include her four daughers; Anne Eleazer and her husband, Clark of Huntsville, Al, Camille Lee and her husband, W.H. Hollingsworth, III of Savannah, Ga.,  Vicky Ward and her husband, Jere of Dickson, TN, Martha Harris and her husband, Tyree of Nashville,TN, Five grandchildren, George Eleazer, William Eleazer, Suzanne Eleazer Pirkle, Christopher Connolly and Elaina Harris, Ten great grandchildren.
