          A funeral service for Billy Eugene Estes, Jr., age 57, known to his family and friends as Bubba, will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Miles officiating.  Interment will follow in the Adcock Cemetery, Dickson.  Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Bubba died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at St. Thomas, Midtown following and extended illness.

     Bubba was the son of Billy E., Sr. and June Cathey Estes.  He married Tamara Baker Estes and was a member of Craggie Hope United Methodist Church and the Game Fowl Association of America.  He loved his family and was a friend to everyone, even strangers he met along the way.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and PaPa.  Bubba had an amazing sense of humor and had a knack for telling jokes and tall tales.  He was a master craftsman in his vocation of working in marble and granite.  From designing and sketching to cutting to fitting, he was widely known as an artist and perfectionist in his trade and was highly sought for some of the exclusive showcase homes of Nashville and surrounding areas.  Bubba loved cock-fighting, horses, and horseback riding.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

     He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tamara Estes, White Bluff; his son, Clint O’Neal Estes; his daughters, Ashely Louise Luenberger (Stephen) and Marcia Renea Estes (and her fiancé, Justin Corbitt), all of White Bluff; his parents, Billy & June Estes, White Bluff; sisters, Cheryl Dunn (William), White Bluff, and Teresa Estes Fratangelo, Burns; and brother, Carlton Hall (Sheila), White Bluff; two grandchildren, Olivia Grace and Ethan Alexander Luenberger; mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews that were like children to him; a host of other relatives and friends; and his beloved canine companion, Mary Jane Elizabeth Estes.
