    Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from the Walnut Street Church of Christ. John Petty will officiate. Visiation will be on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Taylor Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.  Family and friends will assemble at the Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. for graveside and interment services.
   Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Missions Fund of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.
   Mrs. Early, age 84, of Dickson,TN died peacefully at her home January 4, 2018 with her family by her side.
   She was born in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilmer and Annie Mai Elrod Burnett.  She was the owner of the former Jo Ann's in downtown Dickson. She operated the gift shop for some 16 years before retiring.. Mrs. Early was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than watching and encouraging  her children and grandchildren to persue their musical talents.  She has focused solely the past several years caring for her husband, Granville. One great love of her life was her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Gilliland and her brother, James Dewey Burnett.
   She is survived by her husband, Granville Early of Dickson,TN, her three daughters, Marcia Foncree of Hendersonville, TN, Lisa Cooper of Dickson,TN and Celia Ennis and her husband, Jim of Dyersburg, TN, her seven grandchildren, Lydia Cooper, Leah Cooper, Layne Cooper, Alyssa Foncree, Taylor Alexander and her husband, Jake, Seth Gilliland and Grace Gilliland.
