Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018 at 10am at the St. Christopher Catholic Church.  Following the service, Mr. Grunch will be cremated.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 4pm until 8pm.  A Rosary service will begin at 7pm with visitation resuming until 8pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist with final expenses. 

Roy Thomas Grunch, age 67 of Dickson, TN died on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home.  He was born February 11, 1951 in Highland Park, Michigan.  He was a son of the late Raymond Joseph Grunch and the late Helen Burgel Grunch.   Roy was a gifted, industrious and multi-talented Man. He was a mechanic, artist, builder, repairer, truck driver, master Baby sitter, and buyer and seller of just about anything you can think of. He was well liked by one and all and loved to interact with anyone willing to talk about anything that comes to mind.  He built all the homes with his own two hands that his family lived in over his 46 years of marriage to Midge the love of his life.  He repaired all their cars, tools, appliances and small engines. He had a knack for arranging and turning ordinary items into highly desirable treasures for one and all. Roy was always making homemade wood furniture, and whirly-gigs in his shop that he also built with his own two hands. He enjoyed taking machines that everyone else had given up on and breathing new life into them.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Grunch; and 2 step-brothers, Dewayne and Nate Harriman.

 

Mr. Grunch is survived by his wife, Midge Grunch; his 2 daughters, Tracy Miller and Wendy Sullivan (Danny); 4 brothers, Ron Grunch, Rick Grunch, Roger Grunch, Russell Grunch; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Fox Miller, Dakota Sullivan, Gabe Sullivan; great grandchildren, Kennadi Miller, Paizlee Miller, Jackson Hooper, Blakelee Hooper; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
