 Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Steve Baggett will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Friday evening, December 6th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Walnut Street Church of Christ.

Mr. Mitchell, age 93, of Dickson,TN died suddenly December 4, 2019.

He was born in Hickman County, son of the late John and Bama Zarelda Morrow Mitchell.  He attended Hickman County High School and later proudly served our country in the United States Airforce. His career was with AT&T with forty- one and half years of service.

Mr. Mitchell loved his gardening, both flower gardens and vegetable gardens. He was a longtime, faithful member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; Mary Barber Mitchell, his son; Michael Mitchell, his brothers and sister; Freeman Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell and Lamond Mitchell Morris.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years; Juanita Ford Mitchell, his daughter; Alice Mitchell Victory, his grandchildren; Michelle Victory Lindley Christian, Dr. James Victory, Aaron Mitchell and Amy Mitchell Townsend, his great grandchildren; Kristina Lindley Hill, Tristen Lindley, Jared Victory, Abby Victory, Jack Mitchell, Molly Mitchell, Moriah Mitchell, Layla Townsend and Jameson Townsend, his great great granddaughter; Gabrielle Hill.
