Funeral services for Mr. Percy Freeman Long Jr. , age 71 of Nolensville will be conducted Thursday August 25, 2011 at 3: 30 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Luther officiating. Place of rest is in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 4 until 8 pm and on Thursday from 11 am until time of service at the Taylor Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home. Percy, an owner- operator of a refrigeration and air conditioning business, died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at his home in Nolensville. A native of Charlotte, Tennessee he was the son of the late Percy Freeman Long Sr. and Una Mae Hickerson Long. He owned C and P Refrigeration for 28 years, was a Master Scuba Diver, Lifetime Amvet Member, American Legion Member, and RSES Member. He held the Journeyman Mechanical License, Master HVAC License and Certified Mechanical Contractor�s License. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Cheryll Long of Nolensville, TN; daughters, Cur Rhonda Long of Nolensville, TN; Arnita Ozgener and husband Tim of Brentwood, TN; Pamela Jo Groves of Melbourne, FL; brothers, Robert Long of Charlotte, TN; James Long of Mt. Juliet, TN; sister, Anna Catherine Nicks of Charlotte, TN; six grandchildren, Joey Hare; Christopher Hathaway; Bobby Galinis; Trisha Little; Cano Even Ozgener; Aden Freeman Ozgener; three great grandchildren, Josh; Kalee; Michelle; several nieces and nephews.
