Mrs. Mary Lou Hightower Parker, age 78 of Dickson, passed peacefully in her home on May 17, 2020. She was born on February 11, 1942 to the late Roy Wallace and Mildred Waynick Hightower in Montgomery County, TN.

Mary loved to care for her family. She was of the Mormon faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Hightower; her sister, Betty Ann Hudgens; and her grandson, Chanse Michael Parker.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James W. Parker; her sons, Ronnie Parker (Melinda) of Dickson, Eddie Parker of Dickson, and Michael Parker of Dickson; her sister, Wanda May Nickens of Nashville; a special nephew, Jeffrey Hightower; her grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, Summer Elizabeth Parker, Mason Parker, Sarah Vaughn (Lance), and Crystal Woodberry (Roger); and her great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jillian Parker, Abby and Hudson Vaughn and August Woodberry.

Mrs. Parker’s wishes were to be cremated and later inurned in the Hicks Cemetery.
