Edna Lucille Warren Wolfe
Date of Death or Service Aug 25, 2012
Mrs. Edna Lucille Warren Wolfe, age 88 of White Bluff, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at NHC. Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Lucille Wolfe were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Interment followed in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, Edna was the daughter of the late Jesse James and Kim Davis Heath Warren. She was a long-time member of White Bluff Church of Christ and was known to friends and family all over White Bluff as 'Nanny Wolfe.' It thrilled her to be able to cook and serve food for family, friends and neighbors. She loved all kinds of flowers and she loved her trees; however, the trees became a nuisance in the fall when they started shedding their leaves! She worked tirelessly to 'clean up after them', even as late as last fall while she was using a walker. She is survived by three sons, Charles Kenneth Wolfe, Jr. and his wife, Dianna, Randall Phillip Wolfe and his wife, Wanda, Greenbrier, TN, and David Bryan Wolfe, Sr. and his wife, Gresha, Wasilla, Alaska; two daughters, Linda Joyce Jordan, Dickson, and Dianne Durham and her husband, Tim, Nashville; two brothers, Raymond Warren and Henry Warren and one sister, Nita Brewer, all of Murfreesboro; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Wolfe; one son, Glen Wolfe; son-in-law, David Jordan; daughter-in-law, Dianne Wolfe; granddaughter, Sherry Jordan, and great grandson, Jacob Jordan.
