Mr. Harris , a retired Machinist, died peacefully August 5, 2013 at his home. Born in Davidson County moving to Dickson County as a youngster, he was the son of the late Mangrum Eugene and Callie Palmer Horn Harris. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U. S. Navy on the USS Princeton. He was a 32 degree mason and member of the Dickson Masonic Lodge # 468. He was preceded in death by his wife; Gwendolyn Faye Walp Harris in 2003 and also preceded in death by a daughter, Viki Lea Harris Allbert and four brothers.
Survivors include his Two Daughters; Angela Harris Kimak and her husband, Michael of Wetumpka AL, and Brenda (Wendy) Harris Ragan of Dickson, Tn His Three grandchildren; Derick Corlew and wife, Tasha, Candance (Candy) Corlew Carrera and husband, Mario and Jason Lee Allbert and wife, Tabitha. His Brother; William Doyle (Buck) Harris of Dickson. Several nieces and nephews.
