Funeral services for Mrs. Dollie Sensing Story, age 96 of Charlotte, TN was conducted Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2 pm from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Allen officiating. Place of rest is in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Story, retired seamstress and machine operator with the former Henry I. Seigel Clothing Manufacturing Co. here in Dickson, died January 12, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care Center after a lengthy stay. A lifelong resident of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Isom and Mae Spann Sensing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who shared her talent of cooking with many in Dickson County. She was a member of the Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Clifford H. (C.H.) Story and was preceded in death by a son, Steve Story, a sister, Ruby Anderson, her brothers, Robert and Howard Sensing.

Survivors include Her sons, James (Jimmy) Story and his wife, Clara of Charlotte, TN; Robert (Bobby) Story and his wife, Patricia of Ashland City, TN, Her Grandchildren, Todd Story and Jim Story, Her Five Great Grandchildren, Chris Lawson, Micheal Story, McKenzie Story, Brittany Hudson and Seth Hudson; and an adopted sister, Linda Hayes Sensing. Several nieces and nephews.
