Homegoing celebration and funeral services will be Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 1 P.M. from the New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Lester officiating. Burial will be in the East Dickson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday May 27th from 12 Noon until time of service at New Hope Baptist Church. Viewing will begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2 P.M. at Taylor Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hannah, age 96, died Saturday May 23, 2015. She was born in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Alfred and Beulah Marable Haynes and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hannah, one of Dickson's most beloved barbers, her son, Sherman Hannah; grandchildren, Evonne Dunn, Randal Hannah, Timothy Hannah and great grandson, Randy Hannah. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church where she serves in several capacities, she was a member of the New Hope Pioneer Club, and  in Dickson she was a member of the Women’s Federated Club and  the Eastern Star. She along with her late husband were beloved citizens of Dickson and was loved by many. Mrs. Hannah was a sweet spirited lady and was always with a kind word for you.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Bessie Hannah of Dickson; four grandchildren, Patrice Hannah of Clarksville; Jerl Hannah and his wife Angela of Nashville; Carlos Hannah of Dickson; Connie Hannah of Nashville; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Robert Lee Hannah a devoted nephew.
