   Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Cullom officiating.  Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.
   Visitation with the family will be at Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
   Mrs. Bennett, age 92, of Charlotte TN and Mt. Juliet, TN died peacefully Sunday morning, July 5, 2015 at the Carrick Glen Senior Living in Mt. Juliet where she had been a resident for the past several years.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Otis and Martha Elizabeth (Bessie) Robertson Patey of Dickson and her husband, Mr. F. D. Bennett of Charlotte. Born on the grounds of Ruskin Cave, she was amember of the WW II generation. While her husband served as an MP guarding President Roosevelt's estate in Hyde Park, N.Y., she worked in a ball bearing plant nearby. Upon returning home, Mrs. Bennett began teaching in a one-room school house and taught  two generations of students during her 35 years in the Dickson County school system. She enjoyed a long retirment, growing flowers, crocheting, and cooking.  She was a longtime member of the Charlotte Fagan United Methodist Church.
   The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Carrick Glenn in Mt. Juliet for taking such good care of Mrs. Bennett. She could not have been in better hands. Also a special thanks to her caregivers,Jennifer Greer and Kristen Chatham for their love and kindness extended to her and her family.
  Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Betsy D. Bennett of Nashville,TN and her son and daughter-in-law, Judge Andy and Sidney Bennett of Hermitage and her grandson, Adam F. Bennett and his wife, Mary of Nashville,TN.
