Mallory Paige Guthrie, age 9 of Burns gained her Angel Wings on August 18, 2015 with her family by her side. Born in Dickson, TN she was the daughter of Dustin and Tosha Gale Guthrie of Burns and was preceded in death by her grandfather, Randall Anderson, Sr.; great grandfathers, John Guthrie and Louis Allen Ingram and her aunts, Amy Anderson and Lisa “Nicole” Gale. Mallory was a 4th grade student at Oakmont Elementary School and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. As much as Mallory went through she was always more concerned about others. She knew the importance of taking good care of your-self and if someone needed help she was always there. There were three things Mallory wanted to be when she grew up, and they were to be a Physical Therapist, Animal Rescuer or a Make-Up Artist. All three having to do with caring for others or making people feel better about themselves. This world was no doubt a better place with her in it but it was time for her to put herself first and not have to fight so hard and finally get the rest that she so very much deserved. Most importantly Mallory was so excited about being a Christian. She was always concerned about other people’s salvation, always asking if somebody was a Christian. This shows us God was always present in Mallory and now she is with him and at total peace.

Along with her parents Mallory is also survived by her brother, Hunter Allen Guthrie of Burns; grandparents, Rickey & Nadine Guthrie of Burns, David & Brenda Moffitt of Mt. Juliet; great grandparents, Betty Guthrie of Springfield, Barbara Ingram of Donelson, Dwight & Bobbie Gale of Smyrna; aunts & uncles, Stacey Green (Lawson) of Dickson, Danny Gale of Dickson, R.J. Anderson of Dickson; cousins, Shelbi Humphreys, Spencer Green, Bryce Green, Alyssa Gale, Savannah Gale, Noah Gale.
