Born in Cheatham County, Jerry was the son of the late Perry and Virginia Osborne Corlew. He was retired from the construction of schools and hospitals, most recently employed with MCG (Medical Construction Group). He served his country in the United States Army during peace time just prior to the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Griffin Corlew, White Bluff; one daughter, Christy Dawson (Wade), White Bluff; two sons, Lee Corlew (Amanda) and Jason Corlew (Amy), both of White Bluff; two sisters, Teresa Corlew-Allen (Wes), Nashville; and Perrilyn Riley (Sam), Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bruce Corlew and by two sisters, Cynthia Dilgard and Ardyce England.
