Memorial services and a gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Parish Hall of the First Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Mulberry Street and Murrell Street in downtown Dickson. It will begin at 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The dress is casual and please do not not wear black.
Elizabeth "Liz" Ruh Jordan age 44, passed away on Monday June 19, 2017 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville.
A resident of Dickson,TN, she was born in Mt. KIsco, New York, grew up in Slidell, La, and later moved to Dickson, TN. Liz held a culinary and business degree and worked as an auditor in the hotel business. She found her calling within the past few years working with Developmental Services of Dickson County. She loved spending time with her daughters and 2 cats, Whodat and Trouble. She enjoyed Cajun food, the New Orleans Saints, and playing cards. She was a loving mother, sister and daughter, and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene White.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brandi Ray of Dickson,TN and Melodi Brees Jordan of Dickson,TN, her mother, Mrs. Robert E. White of Dickson,TN , her brother, Robert R. White and his wife, Annette of Destrehan, La., her sister Colleen White of Dickson, TN and her two nephews, Kyle Eugene White and Ethan Thomas White.
