Celebration of life memorial service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Dickson First United Methodist Church.  Visitation will begin on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dickson First United Methodist Christian Life Center Fund or to the Dickson County Help Center.

Marilyn H. Larson, age 83 of Dickson, TN passed away on January 30, 2018.

Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 14, 1934. She was the daughter of a United Methodist minister, the late Frederick George Hubach and her late mother, Carolyn Gardner Hubach. She remained a devout Christian and United Methodist throughout her life. While living in Nashville, she attended Calvary United Methodist and later attended Dickson First United Methodist.

She was a graduate of Wagner College. Early in her career, she was a registered nurse. Later, she became a devoted mother, homemaker, and office manager for her husband.

Marilyn was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting gatherings for friends and family. She also liked to garden. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. She was always eager to serve others by leading scout troops, Sunday school classes, school organizations, and church committees.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and “Nana”.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Glenn R. Larson and her parents.

Survivors include her son, Eric Larson and wife, Rebecca; her daughter, Karen Young and husband, Wallace; her grandchildren: Eve Hermann and James Larson; her brother, Fred Hubach, numerous nieces and nephews.
