Family memorial services are being planned. It was Mrs. Stinson's wishes to be cremated.  Her cremains will be buried in the Richardson-Stinson Family Cemetery after services.

Mrs. Stinson, age 76, of Bon Aqua, TN died peacefully on November 16, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Eva P. Cox Smith. She was the widow of the late Gilbert Stinson. She was a former waitress and cook. Among some of the local eateries, she worked at the former Western Sizzlin, the Ponderosa, the former I-40 Restaurant, and the former East Hills Restaurant.  Mrs. Stinson also owned the former Sandy’s Restaurant and Bar in the Bon Aqua area for several years. She spent many years working for BellSouth.

Mrs. Stinson enjoyed spending her free time solving crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. She was a caring person who loved her family deeply, and they loved her in return. Mrs. Stinson adored animals especially her farm animals.

Survivors include her son, Daron Wayne Richardson and his wife, Victoria Ann of Dickson, TN; her daughters, Jomarie Howell and her husband, Brian Keith of Bon Aqua, TN and Barbara Barras of Florida; her sister, Launa McClure of Nashville, TN; several grandchildren including Tina Marie Blackstock and her husband, Phillip, also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren.
