A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Wes Sesler officiating. Burial will follow at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, April 28 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Judy C. Petty, age 71 of Old Hickory, TN passed away on Thursday April 25th at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Born in Dickson, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sarah Baker. She retired with 25 years of service with Metro as a crossing guard and in the latter part of her career became a supervisor. Judy loved spending time with family, friends and her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy R. Petty; and her brothers, Bufford Baker and Bill Baker.
Survivors include her children, Melissa Jones-Brown and her husband Charlie of Franklin and Scott Petty of Old Hickory; her grandchildren, Lauren Jones, Angelia Petty and Scott Dell Petty; her niece Regina Pendleton; her nephew Greg Baker; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
