     Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Henson will take place Wednesday the 11th of March at 6:00 pm from the Chapel Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Enoch Lankford officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tues the 10th of March starting at 5pm until 9pm and Wednesday from 2 pm until service time.
     Mr. Ronnie Henson retired from the Tennessee National Guard and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He was a veteran of war. Mr. Ronnie Henson retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 2011. He retired as a Sergeant where he supervised Troopers in “Troop D.” He was known to many has “Honey Bear” or simply “H.B.”
     Sergeant Henson was proud to serve both his country and his state in various capacities. Ronnie had many titles during his life. Of all the titles he had he was proudest to be a loving husband for 47 years, father, and papaw.
     Ronnie passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on March 7, 2020 at his home.
     Mr. Henson is preceded in death by his parents Myra and Toy Henson, brothers Julian Henson, Kimmy Henson.

     Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Carole Henson, daughters; Vanessa Pilkinton (Jeremy Baker) of Bon Aqua, TN, Tiffany Williams (Billy) of Lavergne, TN; grandchildren Paige, Cade, & Jace Pilkinton, and Izzy & Jameson Williams; sister Tesa Rudd of Jackson, TN.

     Ronnie’s law enforcement and military co-workers will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
