Visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a funeral service being held on Thursday at 5:00 PM. Following the service, Sharon will be cremated and placed at rest by her late husband.
Sharon Virginia Hinkley, age 54 of Lyles Tn died on Monday, July 27, 2020.
Sharon was born on February 1, 1966 in Dickson, TN. She had worked as a childcare attendant and as a cashier. Sharon was an avid Tennessee Titans fan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Jones; her husband, Don Hinkley; her sister, Shelley Jones Donegan.
Sharon Hinkley is survived by her mother, Lou Gafford (Johnny) of White Bluff, TN; her daughters, Tiffany Prentice of NY, and Meranda Pelfrey (James) of Murfreesboro, TN; her siblings, Sherry Bennett (Evan) of Lyles, TN, David Jones of Columbia, TN, Steve Jones of Dickson, TN, Mark Jones of White Bluff, TN, Danny Jones of Dickson, TN, Gail Knight (Jimmy) of Charlotte, TN; half-brother, Brad Prentice of Dickson, TN; half-sister, Riki Jones of Dickson, TN; step brother, Matt Prentice of AL; step sister, Brandy Prentice of Dickson, TN; grandson, Andre Pope of Nashville, TN. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
