     Funeral services will be Saturday February 6, 2021 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Bo Schmittou officiating. Place of rest will be in the Parker-Fowlkes cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday February 5th from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Evangel Baptist Church.
     Mr. James Sol Anderson, age 83 of Dickson, TN better known to his grandchildren as “Big Daddy” died Wednesday February 3, 2021. Born in Williamson County he was the son of the late Benjamin Monroe and Mary Ann Spicer Anderson and was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Ann Thomas Anderson. James was a retired Truck Driver and some of the companies he worked for was Lee Way and Yellow Freight. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Evangel Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his wife, Genelle Anderson of Dickson, TN; sons, Tim Anderson (Jandra) of Dickson, TN, Freddy Anderson (Connie) of Nashville, TN; daughter, Angie Anderson Rawlins (Robert Miller) of Clarksville, TN; step-daughter, Connie Witherow (Todd) of White Bluff, TN; sisters, Vera Cooke of Fairview, TN, Phyllis Warren of Dickson, TN, Barbara Hudgins of Fairview, TN; 6 grandchildren, Emily Peach, Eric Anderson, Adam Kimbro, Kayla Kimbro, Tia Anderson, Marcus Anderson; 5 great grandchildren, Layla Peach, Dillon Peach, Owen Anderson, Evan Anderson, Hayden Anderson; 3 step-grandchildren, Kyle Dietz, Carmen Witherow, Nathan Weems; 3 step-great grandchildren, Jackson, Kaiden, Leah Dietz; several nieces and nephews.
