 Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Tommy Marvin will give his eulogy. Place of rest will be in the Edgewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 23, 2021 between the hour of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Edgewood Cemetery Fund.

Kenneth Edward (Ken) Ellis, age 76, of Dickson, TN died peacefully on May 21, 2021 at his home.

He was born in the Yellow Creek community of Dickson County and was the son of the late Ray Edward and Mildred Lorene Waynick Ellis.  Ken retired from DuPont with some 34 years of service where he was a crane operator and worked in maintenance. He served his country in the Tennessee National Guard  for approximately 6 years.  Ken was a man of faith and was raised in the Methodist Church.  He has been married to the former Dale Cozart for 45 years.

Ken loved his family and friends.  He loved spending time with them on many occasions. He loved the love and laughs that family and friends shared.  Ken loved life and all that came with it.  He loved Nascar racing, loved to go to Talladega Super Speedway and to the Bristol Motor Speedway.

Survivors include his wife, Dale; his brother, Bob Ellis and his wife Scarlet; his niece, Tammy Kilgore and her husband, Glen ; his great-nieces, Jordan Hardy and husband, Cliff and Megan Kilgore; his two great-great nieces, Skyler Young and Emma Jo Hardy and his great-great nephew, Nolan Glen Hardy and his sister-in-law, Mary Lanius.
