Born in Cumberland City, Tennessee, Emma was the daughter of the late Herbert Walter and Lottie C. Powers Dunlap. She was a graduate of the former Burt High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. Many have enjoyed and will fondly remember her many years as head cook at the Inn at Montgomery Bell State Park. She was a member of Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Dorris “Rabbit” Harris, Dickson; two daughters, Cassandra Eaddy (Daryl) and Yulonda Bland, both of Smyrna; a step-daughter, La Rosa Humbles (Michael), Peoria, IL; three brothers, Eddie Dunlap, Cumberland City, Kenneth Dunlap (Bessie), Erin, TN, and David Dunlap (Linda), Cumberland City; three sisters, Rebecca Woodard (Dwight), Dickson, Hattie Cooksey, Clarksville, TN, and Patricia Tyler, Dickson; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; special nieces, Renea Edmondson and Dwan Nelson; a special nephew, Gregory Nelson; special friends, Stanley Oakley and Mona Corlew; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
