Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be on Monday at Taylor Funeral Home between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at Walnut Street Church of Christ beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Walnut Street Church of Christ Youth Group, the Walnut Street Church of Christ Missions or to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Reynolds, age 88, of Dickson, Tn died suddenly September 8, 2021 with her family by her sided.

She was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Roger Lewis and Pearl Margaret Talbert Hamilton.  Mrs. Reynolds was a graduate of Dickson High School, Class of 1950. She was a natural born entrepreneur who loved creating and operating local businesses.  She was the owner and operator of the Hamilton Place Antiques for many years, wheeling and dealing in buying and selling beautiful antique furniture, glass ware and all kinds of vintage items. Her family owned and operated a family business in the Hamilton Place property.  Later on she and her husband, Jim, owned a local bed and breakfast known as the Deerfield Inn.

She was a loving wife to her husband of 70 years who in the later years has cared for him and answered to his every need until her death this week.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a loyal sister. She loved her family.  She was an encourager to all of them.  She was a great homemaker, cooking and entertaining her family and friends. Some of her hobbies included quilting and word games.

Mrs. Reynolds was a military wife.  She and Jim traveled and lived all over the United States and lived also in France and Germany.  She stood by him every mile of the way as he proudly served his country.

She was a faithful member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Reynolds gave her time and money for missions in England and Hawaii. She loved her church and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her son, J. Landon Reynolds, an infant brother Edward Lewis, great grandson Colton Sims-Tucker.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years James Harold Reynolds, her children; Sharon Reynolds Webster and her husband, Jim, Victoria Reynolds and Janice Reynolds Birt and her husband, Ronnie, her grandchildren; Drew Reynolds, Seth Reynolds, Michelle Tucker, Michael Tucker, Alecia (Jason) Berman-Dry, Keith Berman, Jessica (Johnny) Whited, David Dewayne (Marilyn) Sensing, Timothy Sensing, her great grandchildren; Liam Dry, Kayleigh Berman, Tyler Whited, Alex Whited, Konnor Starcher, Benjamin Tucker, Lucas Sensing and Olivia Kay Sensing, her sisters; Dorothy Robinson, Barbara Akins and Patricia Gorzny, her brothers, Glen (Myra) Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton.
