 Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Walton and Chad Sullivan will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday prior to services beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Willow Spring Cemetery in Hickman County.

Mrs. Warren, age 100, of Lyles, TN died peacefully on November 18, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Houston County and was the daughter of the late William Albert and Edna Brooks Hughes. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Carter H. Warren who died in 2017 and was also preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn.

One of her proudest moments in her life was serving her country during World War II as a Rosie the Riveter. She and many women during that period of time in our country became perhaps the most iconic image of working women. She had a strong work ethic.  A seamstress by trade who worked at General Motors for some 23 years. In the early years she worked as a waitress and other seamstress jobs.

In her spare time she loved her gardening, baking and crocheting

Survivors include her children; Judy Carlene Warren of Lyles, TN, Donnie Baker of Trenton, MI, Jerry Warren of Olney, IL, and Terry Warren of Centerville, TN, Her 7 grandchildren and Several great grandchildren.
