Patrick Bruce Bowen, better known as “Pops”, age 57 of Dickson, passed away on January 6, 2022. Born on March 17, 1964 in Salinas, California, he was the son of the late Arthur and Roberta Lozen Bowen. Pops waited a long 15 years to finally be reunited with his bride, Dana, who passed away in December of 2006.

Simply put, he made people laugh, and really enjoyed doing that. He loved to ride – whether it be on 2 wheels on his Harley, or 4 – as he proudly served as the “Harley Santa” in Dickson County for over a decade. On Saturday mornings, you would probably find him enjoying breakfast with some of his friends that he made at Jeanines Café in Dickson.

In his earlier years, Patrick enjoyed lifting weights, having competed in several strongman competitions. He was also a great percussionist - and had volunteered teaching bands in the past. To his family and friends, he was the king of corny, Dad jokes and would often call them to tell a joke, then hang up. Pops was a charming, funny, and loving man, who was well loved and will be missed by many, many people.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Bob Bowen, Charlie Bowen, and Mike Bowen; and his sister: Nancy Bowen.

Survivors include his children: Jordan Bowen (Morgan) of White Bluff, TN, and Faith Bowen (Alex) of Brooklyn, NY; his brothers: Tom Bowen (Kathy) and Mark Bowen (Kelly), both of Michigan; and his sisters: Diane Yothers (Butch) of Michigan and Kaye Bannon (James) of Nebraska. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and the entire Roberts family.
