Funeral services for Teresa Marie Moore Luckett, age 54 of Mt. Juliet, will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bill McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with her family will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time. Teresa died Saturday from complications from an automobile accident two weeks earlier.
Born in Nashville, Teresa was the daughter of Neal Moore of Dickson and Marie Elkins of White Bluff. She was a 1985 graduate of McGavock High School where she was a member of the color guard (flag corps). Teresa was a customer service representative with Suburban Propane. She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Moore, and by her first husband, Donald Barker, and by her step-father, Roger Elkins.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Luckett, of Mt. Juliet; her daughter, Felicia Barker, of Murfreesboro; her father, Neal Moore, of Dickson; her mother, Marie Elkins, of White Bluff; and by her sisters, Cheryl Daugherty (Richie) and Cindy Meadows (Jason), both of White Bluff, and Melissa “Missy” Hayes (Monty), of Vanleer.
