     Funeral services will be Saturday March 12, 2022 at 12 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Overton Eulogist. Place of rest will be in the East Dickson Cemetery.      Otis Eugene Gerron, Jr. was born December 26, 1947 in Dickson, Tennessee to the late Otis Gerron, Sr. and Annie Geraldine Gerron. He departed this life on Monday, February 28, 2022 in his residence in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was educated in the Dickson County Public School System and obtained his G.E.D. Otis affectionally known as (“Boe”), was a loving and God-fearing man. He was baptized at an early age at New Hope Baptist in Dickson, TN. He loved sports especially football, an avid reader and loved to eat his catfish at his favorite restaurant Cracker Barrel. He retired from International Harvestor in Indianapolis, Indiana and was currently working at the Rescue Mission in Nashville, Tennessee.
     He was well loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Otis and Geraldine Gerron, brother Henry (Landy) Vaughn, sister Peggy Jean Carter, and son Stanley Primm.
     He will be forever loved and remembered by his children; four sons: Otis (Debbi) Gerron of Louisville, Kentucky, David (Crystal) Gerron of Huntsville, Alabama, Reggie (Kaela) Gerron of Indianapolis, Indiana and Andre (Kim) Gerron of Louisville, Kentucky; four daughters: Patricia (Doyle) Jones of Louisville, Kentucky, Carla Wells of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharlene Gerron of Louisville, Kentucky and Jayla Steptoe of Indianapolis, IN; sister: Phyllis (Robert) Mitchell of Lyles, Tennessee; Sister-in-law: Dorothy Vaughn of Charlotte, Tennessee, and two ex-sisters-in-law whom he cherished deeply Viola Edmondson of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee and Judy Wilkins of Louisville, Kentucky; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives and friends.

     Otis was blessed to have a very special cousins Barbara Ann Holt and Lawrence Grimes, Herman Grimes and Mitchell Grimes and good friend Preston Mays.
