Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Tommy Marvin will give her eulogy. Place of rest will be in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, April 18th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service. Mary Carolyn Brewer, age 69, of Bon Aqua, TN died April 13, 2022.
She was born in Dickson County, daughter of the late Louie Bell and Mary Lee Daniel Fleet. She was a graduate of Hume-Fogg Technical and Vocational High School in Nashville, TN, class of 1971. Carolyn worked professionally as an administrative assistant, starting with Vanderbilt University and later at First Baptist Church, Capitol Hill.
Carolyn loved her family, her church family and her friends. Carolyn loved sending cards to friends and family, along with her Mother; it was their ministry. Carolyn and her husband enjoyed the adventures of traveling; including cruises and other destinations. She loved music and loved to attend concerts and experience all the different artists.
Carolyn loved anything pig. She had a vast collection of pig figurines, including piggy banks and anything related to pigs.
Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Dickson where she attended the Faith Riders Sunday School Class.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Sean McBroom.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Gregory Brewer of Bon Aqua, TN, her daughter; Michelle McBroom of Goodlettsville ,TN, her step-son; Branden Todd Brewer of Smyrna, TN, her four grandchildren; Courtney Brandon, Andrea Dillinger (Craig), Ricky McBroom and Cory McBroom, her one great granddaughter; Nora Dillinger, her only brother; Vernon Fleet and his wife, Sandra of Dickson, TN,
