Mr. George H. Cummings, age 83 of Dickson, TN, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the TriStar Horizon Medical Center.
Mr. Cummings was born on December 28, 1938 in Hopwood, Pennsylvania. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania in California, PA. Afterwards, George spent many years working as an educator. He taught science and chemistry in the public education system. He had attended services at the Presbyterian Church in Prosperity, Pennsylvania.
George was ready for his reunion in heaven with his sweet wife, Rosalie Bittner Cummings who died on May 7, 2020.
Mr. George Cummings is survived by his children, Rob Arnold (Sharon), Ruth Wilson (David Tissue), George Cummings, Jr. (Michele), Paul Cummings (Belinda), Margaret Cole (David); 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
At George’s request, his body will be donated for the advancement of medical science. George and Rosalie’s cremated remains will be privately placed at rest in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CareNet Pregnancy Medical Center, 305 S. Main Street, Dickson, TN 37055.
