Private family graveside services are planned for Christopher Aaron Gooch, age 42 of Hollow Rock, Tennessee. Interment will be in Dickson County Memorial Gardens near his mother. Aaron died unexpectedly Monday, June 27, 2022 in Florence, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
Born in Tennessee, Aaron was the son of Kerry Gooch and the late Sherry Heggie (Gooch) Edwards. Aaron was a contractor in residential home construction.
Survivors include his father, Kerry Gooch (Marilyn), Dickson; his wife, Vicki Gooch, Hollow Rock, TN; his children, Rev. Kurt Barnhart (Bethany), Union City, TN, Dr. Andrew Lanier, Irving, TX, Katie Hewitt (Josh), Portsmouth, VA, Adam Barnhart, Michigan City, IN, Nadia Harding (Bailey) and Noel Gooch, both of Dickson; a brother, Jeremy Gooch, Dickson, and brother-by-heart, Jason Jones; two grand-children, Luke Hewitt and Hudson Harding; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Ron Rickard, Milan, MI. He was preceded by his mother, Sherry Edwards and his brother, Brandon Gooch.
