Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will also take place on Monday from 12 noon until the time of service.
For those desiring, memorial contributions are suggested to the Burns Church of Christ or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Betty Heath Sutton, age 82, of Dickson, passed from this life on July 23, 2022, at NHC of Dickson. She was born on November 5, 1939, in Charlotte, TN, to the late Melvin Charles and Ethel Agnes Christy Heath. Mrs. Sutton was a member of the Burns Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister: Charlene Reed.
Survivors include her husband of over 30 years: J. Dempsey Sutton; her sisters: Audrey Selah (Sam) and Corene Phillips, both of Nashville; her stepdaughters: Michelle Davis (Tom) of Spring Hill and Elissa Finchum (Andy) of Huntsville, AL; her step-grandchildren: Mason Lanius, Caylor Lanius, and Riley Finchum; special caregivers: DeDe Brettner, Diana Entwistle, and Victoria Vinson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
