Funeral services will be Sunday August 21, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Farris officiating. Interment will follow in the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Boma, TN at 4:30 PM. Visitation with the family will be Saturday August 20th from 2 to 8 PM and on Sunday from 11 AM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dorothy Sue Roberts, age 88 of Dickson, TN passed away Thursday August 18, 2022. Born in Humphreys County, TN she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Loney Baker Thorn and was preceded in death by husband, Manuel W. Roberts; her sons, Manuel Eugene Roberts and Dewey Mark Roberts; her daughter, Nancy Roberts. Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Scoggins (Robert) of Dickson, TN; Cherie Cox (Danny) of Charlotte, TN; sons, Leslie Dale Roberts (Teresa) of Charlotte, TN, Samuel Lee Roberts of Camden, TN; sisters, Wanda Cleveland of Waverly, TN, Betty Jolene Longmire of Waverly, TN; 14 grandchildren, Kim Brown, Andrew “Bubba” Sprinkles, Amy Mansfield, Janie Miller, Adam Paul Roberts, Matthew Thomas Roberts, Kristin Jones, Daniel Roberts, Natasha Harmon, Evan Cox, Jess Cox, Brandi Hutchison, Angel Ramsey, Devan Roberts; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
