Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, November 4th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Dickson County Help Center or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Kenneth Wayne Edmisson was born January 13, 1944 and passed away at his home in Dickson on November 3, 2022.

Kenneth lived in Dickson his entire life. He was an avid golfer and hunter. He loved baseball and coached his daughter Emily’s softball team for 10 years at Buckner Park. He was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. Kenneth retired from State Industries in Ashland City with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was also a graduate of Dickson High School, Class of 1961.

In addition to his parents Emmett Lee & Myrtle Edmisson, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas Edmisson, Douglas Edmisson, and baby James. He was also preceded by his sisters Marie Brown, Katherine Thompson, and Betty Gilliam.

Kenneth will also be reunited with his longtime friends Jasper and Diane McEwen.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Kimbro Edmisson; his son, Dr. Ken Edmisson; his daughter, Emily Edmisson Wilson (and husband Sean); his grandsons Tyler Wright (and girlfriend Ireanna) and Carter Ward, all of Dickson, TN. He is also survived by three sisters: Mildred Penoli of El Paso; Peggy Anderson of Dickson; Sandra Whittinghill of Dickson.
