 Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church with Rev. Joyce Lighari officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday evening at Taylor Funeral Home between the hours of 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Janie Faye Deason Robinson, age 79, of Dickson, TN died peacefully January 24, 2023 at the Life Care Center in Centerville, TN after a short stay.

She was a lifelong resident of Dickson County, daughter of the late Leroy (Roy) and Robbie Edna Cunningham Deason. She was a graduate of Charlotte High School, class of 1961. Later attending Austin Peay University where she received her B.S. degree and later receiving her masters degree.  She started her working career for the State of Tennessee in the Human Services division.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared her talents as a special education teacher for the Dickson County Board of Education.

Mrs. Robinson had a passion for interior design and was extremely good at it.  She loved her garden and loved her flowers.  She and her husband enjoyed retirement and their time to travel. They completed travel to all the original 48 states.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years; Richard Dean Robinson of Dickson, TN, her three children; Richard S. Robinson, Andrew Shay (Andy) Robinson and his wife Karen, and Amy Leshea Robinson Suddeath and her husband, John all of Dickson, TN, her brother; Robert Lee (Bob) Deason and his wife, Kay of the Sylvia Community, her ten grandchildren; Taylor Elizabeth Robinson-Alexander (Jacob), John-Parker Luke Robinson, Joshua Michael Robinson, Alexandria Barnett (Mikael), Charles Austin Robinson, Jordan Andrew Robinson, Alexander Gray (Kelsey), Kristian Qualls (Derek), Hayden Luke Suddeath and Aubrey Claire Suddeath, her nine great grandchildren; Ragan Elizabeth Alexander, Caroline Rose Alexander, Isabella Barnett, Abigayle Barnett, Mikaela Barnett, Penelope Qualls, Theodore Qualls, Riley Marise and Autumn Marise.
