Funeral services for Wayne Ray “Bubba” Plunk, Jr., age 58 of Dickson, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Justin Spurlock officiating.  Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time.  He died February 8, 2023 at his home.

Born in Nashville, Bubba was the son of the late Betty Fry Plunk and the late Wayne Ray Plunk, Sr.   He graduated from Nashville Christian High School.  Now retired, he owned and operated his own limousine company.  Prior to that he had worked at numerous boat factories and restaurants.  In addition to his parents, Bubba was preceded by a son, Billy Ray Plunk and by a sister, Terri Plunk Tortorich. 

Survivors include his wife of nearly 38 years, Mary Beth Wall Plunk, Dickson; three sons, Adam Plunk of Pegram, Nathan Plunk of Kingston Springs, and Zachary Plunk of Dickson; a brother, Mike Plunk of Dickson; two sisters, Debbie Spurlock (Randy), and Tammie Abell (Andy), both of Dickson; seven grandchildren, Hadley, Hendrix, Nathan, Lukas, Preston, Zachary, and Jaxon.
