     Funeral services will be Monday February 20, 2023 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rick Smith officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Sunday February 19th from 2 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until time of service.

     James Edward “Jim” Henley, age 74 of Dickson, TN passed away Wednesday February 15, 2023. Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of the late Cletus W. “Red” and Virginia Jones Henley. Jim retired from the Water Authority of Dickson County where over the years he held may different positions. Jim was a life time member of the Rescue Squad. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

     Survivors include his wife, Shirley Duke Henley of Dickson, TN; children, Christina Eswein of Melbourne, FL, Brian Henley (Amy) of White Bluff, TN, Jayme Ross (Cameron) of TN Ridge, TN, Anita Pendergrass (Michael) of Dickson, TN, Michael "Bubba" Hargrove (Alicia) of Dickson, TN, Evelyn Chambers (Scottie) of Dickson, TN; brother, Tony Henley of Dickson, TN; sister, Sandy Harden of Hickman Co., TN; 20 grandchildren, Connor, Madie, Ethan Eswein, Brooke Smith, Morgan Yarnell, Hunter Smith, Jacob Smith, Camdyn Ross, Carina Riley, Lauren Michelsen, Michael Morgan, Cody Hargrove, Celest Burkhalter, Brianna Hargrove, Destiny Hargrove, Lucas Hargrove, Kenny Potter, Stephen Potter, Ryan Potter, Parker Chambers; 3 great grandchildren, Atlas Gray Morgan, Jackson Burkhalter, Mazie Kate Smith.
