Sandra Spencer Williams, age 74, of Dickson, TN died March 1, 2023 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.

Sandra was born in Dickson County, daughter of the late Johnson Petway Spencer and Vera Iola Gentry Spencer Bush.

Sandra was preceded in death by her son; Howard “Richie” Jones, her grandson; Spencer Bowsher, her brothers; Mike Bush, Bobby Bush, Ricky Spencer and Danny Spencer.

Sandra was the next to oldest of 9 children and worked hard in the tobacco fields. She had great grades in high school and was a high school cheerleader. When asked to describer her, you can start by saying she was a God-fearing lady first and foremost. She was a dedicated mother to her five children, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was beautiful, strong, sacrificial, loving, hard working, and the most selfless person you will ever meet.

She got her G.E.D. to become a bookkeeper/accountant while being a single mom. She was an amazing seamstress and worked hard to see that her children had all they needed. She was their safe place to fall and their biggest cheerleader. She was full of grace and had a way of making everyone she was with know that they were her “favorite”. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing in her church choir. She would always end by saying “I love you more!” and Oh My could she make a mean chicken pot pie!

Survivors include her children; Tony Jones, Angie Bowsher and her husband, Rob, Christy Williams (Jay Hill), Melissa Andrews and her husband William, Jr., and Kimberly Miles and her husband, Matthew, her brothers; Gregory Spencer and Kenny Bush and his wife Teresa, her sisters; Diana Hunter and her husband, Johnny and Sherry Stopher and her husband, Bob, her daughter-in-law; April Jones, her 23 grandchildren; Ashley Whitehead (Dolan) Brooklyn Miller (Aaron), Liz Price (Shelby) Angie Rife, Andrew Bowsher (Lydia), Zachary Bowsher (Rachel), Rachel Bowsher, Maci Jones, Emma Jones, Ruby Jones, Mallory Blaylock, Malaney Blaylock, Noah Blaylock, Makenley Blaylock, Issac Andrews, Coleman Andrews, Spencer Andrews, Trevor Miles, Hannah Miles, Jasmine Hill, Brandon Miles, Savannah Shelton and Autumn Hill, her 7 great grandchildren; Bennett Bowsher, Oliver Bowsher, Aubrey Whitehead, Aria Whitehead, Charlotte Miller, Avery Price and Shepherd Price. Several aunts, cousins and extended family.
