Mr. Frank Clinton Baker, age 97, of Dickson, TN died peacefully March 2, 2023 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center after a short stay.
He was born April 21, 1925 in the Yellow Creek Community of Dickson County where he was one of 10 children born to the late Frank and Nettie Baker.
After getting to the age of recruitment he was enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during World War II. After serving his country her married the former Josephine Whitson and moved to Michigan to begin his working career as a journeyman electrician. He worked with Chrysler Corp. and later worked with Great Lakes Steel Co. In 1964 he and Mrs. Baker moved back to Tennessee where he worked as an electrician with Consolidated Aluminum, working there for some 20 years. At the time of Mrs. Bakers death in 2016 they were married for 69 years. He was preceded in death by 8 sisters and 1 brother.
Survivors include his only child, Brenda, his grandson; William Reuben (Bill) White and his wife Kara, his granddaughter; Rebekah White (Becky) Harris and her husband, James, his 3 great grandchildren; Tyler Lee White and wife Erin, Adelaine Leigh (Lainey), Henry Michael (Hank) Harris and his 1 great-great grandson William Thomas White, Several nieces and nephews.
Active casket bearers will be; Donnie Pate, Scott Pate, Tony Mazzo, Robert Kimbro, James Stokes, Al Givens, Honorary will be; Dale Brown, Larry Gilbert, John Wynn, Randal Pate and also Brenda’s GNO group; Judy Nicks, Barbara Bean, Jan Dunn, Jean Johnson, Irene Bradford and Sandra Greenwell.
