Dale Burgess passed quietly at home in Dickson, Tn on Sunday March 19th. There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church.
He was born Aug 11, 1939. Dale graduated from Bemus Point Central Highschool in 1958. He served in the US Navy Submarine service for 4 years. He worked for Blackstone Ultrasonics of Jamestown, NY for 15 years, and he retired from Carrier Air Conditioning in Collierville, Tn after 25 years.
He is survived by Betty his wife of 63 years, his children; Gary and his wife Patty, Amy Beck and her husband Patrick Taylor. A sister Linda Crossley. A loving father figure to Candice Cokefair. Grand children; Sarah Sandifer and her husband Michael, Hannah Winker and her husband Greg, Joshua Burgess and his wife Ashleigh, Jacob Beck, and Sam Beck. Great grand children Aiden Winker, Audrey and Aaron Sandifer. He was preceded by his father Myron and mother Wilda. Sisters Jackie, Judy, Jeanette, and brother Richard.
Dale enjoyed golf, wood working, and time with family. He was a devoted husband, and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He had been a member of Parker's Creek Baptist Church and Saint John Lutheran church in Burns. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
