A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00AM at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held Monday night at 7:00PM. Interment will be in the Taylortown Cemetery in White Bluff. A luncheon will follow interment at St. Christopher’s. James David Cauthen, age 39, of Pegram, TN passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
James was born in Cookeville, TN on June 6, 1983 to Joseph and Jayne Cauthen. James was a river guide on the Ocoee River working mainly for Big Frog Expeditions and was a certified first responder. He also worked building green houses for several different Universities and businesses for Passive Integrated Green Systems. James was an adventurer and free spirit. James had a kind heart and was loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents Joseph and Jayne Cauthen of Pegram, TN and his siblings John Ivan Cauthen (Emily) of Sun Prairie Wisconsin, Jennifer Cauthen of Pegram, TN, Joslin Cauthen of Pegram, TN and Julianna Kelley (Justin) of Dickson, TN. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
